By creating an account, accessing, or using Blaze, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Blaze.
2. About Blaze
Blaze is an educational and accessibility-focused platform designed to help users interact with text and educational materials using accessibility and text-to-speech features. Blaze may include:
text-to-speech functionality educational accessibility tools cloud syncing file and text uploads AI-assisted audio generation accessibility customisation features
Some features may change, be updated, or be removed over time.
3. Eligibility
Blaze is intended only for users aged 13 years or older. Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts or use Blaze. By using Blaze, you confirm that: you are at least 13 years old the information you provide is accurate you have the legal ability to agree to these Terms
Blaze reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate age restrictions.
4. User Accounts To use certain features, users may need to create an account. Users are responsible for:
maintaining account security protecting login credentials activities conducted through their account
You agree not to:
impersonate another person create misleading accounts share accounts in an abusive or fraudulent manner attempt unauthorised access to Blaze systems
Blaze reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or violations of these Terms.
5. User Content
Users may upload:

other compatible content Users retain ownership of content they own or have rights to use. Blaze does not claim ownership over user-uploaded content. However, by uploading content, you grant Blaze a limited, non-exclusive licence to:

the content solely for the purpose of operating and improving Blaze services. Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights, permissions, or lawful grounds to upload content. Educational and reference materials may be uploaded for personal and educational use within Blaze. Users must not falsely claim ownership over materials created or owned by others.
6. Prohibited Content & Conduct
Users must not use Blaze to:
upload illegal content distribute malware, spam, or harmful code upload explicit sexual content harass, threaten, or abuse others upload extremist or highly graphic violent material interfere with Blaze systems or security misuse the platform in unlawful ways
Blaze reserves the right to:
remove content restrict features suspend accounts permanently terminate accounts
at its discretion when misuse is detected.
7. Intellectual Property
Blaze, including its branding, design, software, logos, interfaces, and features, is owned by Elan Levy or licensed to Blaze and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Users may not:
copy Blaze software reverse engineer the service redistribute Blaze code or branding commercially exploit Blaze without permission
except where permitted by applicable law.
8. Third-Party Services
Blaze may rely on third-party providers and technologies, including cloud storage, AI, and text-to-speech systems.
These may include:
Supabase ElevenLabs Microsoft Azure services Hugging Face Inworld AI built-in device text-to-speech technologies
Blaze is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or issues caused by third-party providers.
9. Availability of Service
Blaze may be updated, modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.
We do not guarantee:
uninterrupted availability error-free operation permanent access to features or stored content
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of important materials.
10. AI & Accessibility Disclaimer
Blaze may use automated systems, accessibility technologies, and AI-assisted processing.
Generated audio or accessibility outputs may occasionally contain:
Blaze is provided for educational, accessibility, and productivity purposes only.
Blaze is not:
a medical service a mental health service a professional educational institution a substitute for qualified professional advice
Users should independently verify important information.
11. Privacy
Your use of Blaze is also governed by the Blaze Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Blaze collects, stores, and processes user information.
12. Data & Account Deletion
Users may:
delete uploaded content remove saved information delete their account
through available account settings.
Blaze may retain limited information where required:
for legal obligations fraud prevention dispute resolution security purposes
13. Future Paid Features
Blaze may introduce:
subscriptions premium plans paid accessibility tools enhanced storage or export features
Additional pricing and billing terms may apply to paid services in the future.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blaze and Elan Levy shall not be liable for:
indirect damages data loss educational outcomes lost profits interruptions third-party service failures reliance on generated outputs
Use of Blaze is at the user's own risk.
Some jurisdictions may not allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply in all locations.
15. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blaze and Elan Levy from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

Blaze reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time where:
these Terms are violated misuse is detected security risks arise unlawful behaviour occurs
Termination may result in loss of access to uploaded content and services.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Spain, while respecting applicable consumer and privacy protections required under relevant international laws, including GDPR where applicable.

Blaze may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of Blaze after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
